During the next 45 days for grade 9 students and 90 days for grade 10 students, you will be responible for the completion of several projects. While most projects are intended for teams of students, there are a few projects that require the students to work alone.

Grade 10 students have 8 team projects as well as SketchUp, Career Exploration, WHMIS and Passport to Safety to complete alone.
The team projects comprise 75% of the final grade, individual projects comprise 15% with the test and mid-terms making up the final 10%.

Team Projects
Bridge Project - design, build and test a truss bridge (60 points) From the projects below, each team must complete 3 of the projects.
Photostory - research and create a photostory presentation showing 50 of the world's most important technological advancements. This can be a variety of everyday items and items that we do not use everyday. (60 points)
Pivot - design and create a Pivot stick figure animation of 30 to 60 seconds in length. (60 points) PowerPoint - design and create a powerpoint presentation concerning either workplace safety or the green economy. (60 points)
Once you have chosen your projects, the teacher will assign you an order that you must complete them in. This is done because we do not have the facilities and tools for everyone to do the same project at the same time.
